Roles and Reflection

Helped redesign characters. Worked on animation and shading.

General thoughts:

I find the story to be charming and appreciate how people are not aware that Seluna is a goddess when they first meet her. While simple, the story shows the valuable lesson of being kind to others, even if they may not be kind to you, such as when it was described how people were upset with Seluna and she still helped the townspeople. The animation’s soft style is comforting, reminding me of a storybook. The process itself made me really prioritize the movements that were present in the animation, as there was only some movement scattered throughout the animation. It made me question and apply whether or not fluid movement was necessary for a scene, saving both time and increasing the quality of the scenes that needed it the most.

More detailed description:

Worked on animation and shading for the following scenes:

Seluna snaps her fingers.

Seluna floats down.

Seluna and Soren talking after the monster gets defeated.

Seluna closes her eyes as Soren’s eyes grow wider.

People dance and celebrate.
