Cliche Story 4
The Hidden Goddess
Plot:
When Seluna discovers that her followers have vanished and her offerings are all but gone, she learns the truth: a war has ravaged the lands, and with it, the music of the world has died. The once-beautiful songs that tied the very fabric of the earth together have been replaced by the sounds of battle and bloodshed. Villages have been burned, and the once-celebratory nights beneath her moon are now filled with the cries of the dying.
In an unexpected turn of events, Seluna, determined to restore harmony, chooses to take up arms herself. She disguises her divine nature and joins the ranks of the mortals, leading a group of guerrilla warriors who fight to overthrow the empire that has banned music, outlawed the worship of the gods, and destroyed the sanctuaries of the moon.
Seluna meets Soren, a battle-worn general who lost his faith after his family was slaughtered in a raid. Initially, Soren is skeptical of Seluna’s divine power, believing her to be just another hopeless rebel. However, as they traverse the war-torn land, Seluna’s music begins to revive not just the land, but also the hearts of the broken soldiers.
In the climax, Seluna performs an ancient battle hymn that calls upon the spirits of the earth, invoking the strength of the stars themselves. Her song leads a final charge against the empire, but the ultimate price for her victory is that her music may never again be heard by mortal ears, for the power of the song consumes her energy, leaving her as an eternal, silent presence watching over the world.
